There are always some people who come as an angel for the mankind. They can do any job but somehow unintentionally they are helping the mankind. As like Mohammad Rakibul Hasan who is one of the angel helping the mankind by his photography. He is also known as M R Hasan in Bangladesh photography, he is well known for his black & white photographs of several issues and several sectors such as climate change, political violence and Rohingya refugee crisis, later he practiced fine art photography and digital art also.

Mr. Hasan was born in a small town in Sherpur, Bangladesh; he was the fifth children among five. He was brought up in a middle class Muslim family. He had a very rich book library in his living place where he spent longtime reading literature and the world of art. He had a great passion in painting from his very early childhood and practiced writing Bengali poetry also. Hasan was first introduced with photography while he was studying Film & Video Production at UBS Film School (Sydney Film School) at the University of Sydney, Australia in 2003. His interest in photography leaded him to become a professional photographer when he returned to his home country, Bangladesh from Australia. Hasan was granted a full scholarship from the World Press Photo (WPP), the Netherlands to study a Postgraduate Diploma in Photojournalism at Ateneo de Manila University, Philippines during 2011-12. The passion for art and learning the art had taken Hasan to the University of Oxford where he studied a Certificate Course of Higher Education in History of Art as a part time student since 2015 to 2017. He was inspired by watching artworks of David Hockney, Gerhard Richter, Andreas Gursky, Thomas Demand, Thomas Ruff, Jeff Wall, Cindy Sherman and Man Ray.

Hasan was commissioned by many distinctive organization such as Asian Development Bank, FAO of the United Nations, International Committee for the Red Cross, Helen Keller Foundation, Save the Children, Save an Orphan and many other organizations.

His works have been published in several forms of mediums and sectors such as newspapers, magazines, online media and books. Also in Asian Geographic Magazine, BBC, The Ecologist, The Sunday Times, The Invisible Photographer Asia,The Daily Star, Lenscratch, CFYE Magazine, Fluster Magazine.
