Dhaka International Film Festival is a film festival held every year at Dhaka in Bangladesh. This festival was primarily prepared on annual basis. This ever has been creating since 1992.It has become a biennial event since the year of 1995. It is one of the most impressive film events in Bangladesh. It is dedicated to initiate the typical global cinema to the local film. The festival was originated by the Rainbow Film Society.
The 15th Dhaka International Film Festival will be detained in Dhaka from 12th– 20th January of 2017. The common theme of the festival is greater Film, better audience and enhanced Society. The Festival has been prepared on a regular origin by Rainbow Film Society. It has been devoted to the promotion of a healthy cine customs in Bangladesh. By celebrating the global normal in film and its social it is significant since 1977.

In the 15th DIFF, directors imagine to monitor about one hundred and seventy films. These are done with contribution from around sixty countries. The festival will have a rivalry section for Asian and Australian cinema and segment categories. Some of these are Cinema of the World, Retrospective, Nordic Film Session, Children’s Film, Women Filmmakers and Independent Films Section.
