Nawaab Syed Shamsul Huda was a Muslim following leader and academic in British India. He was born in the village of Gokarna. His father was an editor of The Doorbeen. It was a weekly journal of Persian language. It is now known as Gokarna Nawaab Bari Complex. It is in Nasirnagar Upazila at Brahmanbaria District. Earlier is included into the greater Comilla District. That was a part of Hill Tipperah before deviation.
Nawaab Syed Shamsul Huda’s was finished primary education under his father care. Then he got decelerated in Hooghly High Madrasah at Kolkata. He was there to complete the usual education. After that he got Bachelor of Arts degree in 1884 from Presidency College. In 1886 he achieved Bachelor of Law (BL) degree from Kolkata University. He achieved Master of Arts from Presidency College on Persian privately in 1889.
Nawaab Syed Shamsul Huda obtained all kinds of institutional knowledge. He became one of the mostly educated powerful Muslims of his creation. He carried out a very significant position of Muslim researcher, leader and politician. He worked in British India over the opening of twentieth century. He connected in Kolkata Madrasah in 1885. He served there as a lecturer in Arabic and Persian successfully. Same year he was became the supervisor in the Department of Arabic and Persian. Moreover he was skillful lawyer at the Kolkata High Court and slowly involved in politics. He opposed as a political leader for the budget first time. It was happened in 1905. He planned to follow for the development for East Bengal respectively.
He was an associate of Kolkata University in 1902. He became ‘President’ in 1910 of the All India Muslim League. He died in 1922 on 14 October. On that date he was sixty years old. He was obscured in Tiljola Municipal graveyard.
